Gamification Lesson plan & Revise Concept map

Hey guys!! This week as individuals we will be creating another lesson plan for an elementary
classroom.Although, we are doing it individually we have to communicate with each
other what were doing our lesson plan on so no one does the same thing.
Before we start our lesson plan she wants us to talk as a group about our larger PBL project,
which I believe is our (Healthy fair). Then take this opportunity to revise your concept map
and add anything that is not captured up until this point. Then we can discuss as a group
and each take one lesson concept from the larger PBL concept map to develop as a Gamification lesson.

So it sounds like to me we have to update the concept map before we can do our lesson plan.

If you guys want to comment something we can add I can try and make an updated one.

What are we doing for our main topic

So I was talking to our teacher and she asked me what we were doing for our main topic of "practicing healthy habits". She suggested something like doing a healthy fair. We can do that or we can do something else. I'm open to ideas and I am still a little confused so I will keep asking her questions! Megan Southland

Collaborative Podcast

Hey everyone! I was just looking at the instructions for this podcast. There are 5 of us in our group and each of us is to discuss an aspect. What should our aspects be? She gave us 3 examples and then said we need to use two examples from the book. Would you guys prefer to pick our own aspects separately or generate a list of 5 things we should discuss and then pick who does what? Or we could do something else if you guys want to haha. Google Map Assignment

We chose to have our class be penpals with students in India. Our students will compare and contrast how they stay healthy with the students in India. The students will connect that even areas with large distance between them can still share some similarities, as well as have their own unique traits. The students will use Global Penfriends to communicate with their penpals. This map shows the students just how far away their penpals are, they would even have to take a plane, or a very long boat ride, to make it there safely.
