Final Concept Map & Websites

Hey guys, so I believe what we have left to do as a group is our websites and our final concept map. Our concept map needs to be up to date with our storyboard. So basically have everything that our storyboard has and is talking about.
Everyone knows who's doing what website, so were all set on that.
Who will be doing what websites:

  • Alexa- Eating Healthy, Booth on Nutrition,
  • Kim- Self Care, Booth on Exercising
  • Megan- Stress Management, Booth on Promoting the Health Fair
  • Morgan- Exercising, Booth on Self Care and Wellness
If we want to find a day to work on our concept map together and add the things needed that would be great.

Data Collection Lesson Plan (taskstream)

Hey guys, I just wanted to remind you that we have to make sure we all choose something different from our concept map for our lesson plan due on Sunday. I'll be posting about what I am doing mine on either today or tomorrow.

Hey guys, it looks like we have to create a storyboard together of our whole project-based learning project. It looks like it is due on Friday at midnight so we need to get started on it as soon as possible. Our professor has steps 1 through 5 to help us with creating this storyboard. There is also a sample story board to help us.
-Alexa

These are the 1-5 steps she listed to help us with creating it.

1. The first thing you need to do is to brainstorm everything that students would need to learn to complete the project from start to finish. Once you have this figured out, then you will decide on your web pages (seen in all caps on the storyboard sample). Every group member must create at least 2 web pages with the homepage and standards page not counting (for example, if you have 3 group members there should be at least 8 pages: 2 for each group member, the homepage, and the standards page).
2. Second, you need to figure what things should be on each page .... what all should be taught even though it has not be covered in your assignments. (in italics on the storyboard sample).
 3. Third, you need to plug in all assignments (lesson plans, digital stories, virtual penpal/google map, collaborative podcast, final concept map, and collaborative blog) along with web URLs from your web evaluations on the pages where they fit with group member who did it. (in regular type on the storyboard sample).
 4. Fourth, figure out what original resource each group member will complete and plug it in on the page where it fits (the requirement is: Each group member needs to create one original resource -- such as a lesson plan, a podcast, etc. Word searches and crossword puzzles do NOT count!) (in all caps and italic on the storyboard sample).
5. The last thing you need to decide is what new items of information you will need to fill in all areas on the pages you have decided on (the requirement is: Each web page created by individual group member (anotherwords, not homepage or standards page) needs to contain one or more new items of information not given throughout the semester -- ideas for lesson plans that could be completed for that area of your topic. Your new original resource does not count). This is also where you will add web sites for viewer to get more information on what you are suggesting for another lesson. Remember, this is just a brief explanation of new idea with web site(s) to give more information. (see New Item of information w/web sites on the storyboard sample).

Hey guys! I hope you all had a great spring break! For this week, just to confirm, we are each making our own digital story using a different part of our concept map? Kim Jones
