Hey guys, Ive been looking ahead on the concept map and trying to think about a Big Project we can do. Also we need to chose a software program either Inspiration, Kidspiration, Bubbl.us or Webspiration. Bubb.us is free. The other ones I think are a 30 day trail. I think anyone we chose will be fine. Maybe everyone in the group can look at the options and we can decide together on which software we want to use and then we can talk about our Big Project. Everyone can comment which software they want to use and we can go from there. I'm going to post this on the discussion and on the blogger so people can see it both places.

I think the free one would probably be the easiest just so we don't have to worry about trials or anything like that! Whatever everyone else wants works for me though. In terms of "staying healthy", there's a lot of options here. There's mental health, physical health, nutritional health, internal health, etc. What are everyone's thoughts?

DeleteI agree with using the free one, I've looked into this one and I liked it! My suggestion for the project is living a healthy lifestyle by making healthy choices like with the things you put into your body such as smoking, junk food, etc. Let me know! Megan Southland
DeleteThe actual topic is "EATING HEALTHY" not staying healthy. So we were all wrong :( We just had the title of the blog wrong.
DeleteAccording to the discussion board for group topics created by Dr. Peterson, the topic is just "staying healthy" not specifically eating healthy.
DeleteI'm fine with the free one as well! That one seems easy to navigate and like Morgan said we won't have to worry about trial dates. I think mental and nutritional health are good topics to explore. It seems there may be more to discuss in those areas vs physical health. Let me know what you guys think!
ReplyDeleteI agree, I didnt see this comment before I posted mine about physical health but I actually think mental or nutritional health are both great and would be good topics to explore.

DeleteAlso, Charley I'm not sure if you've made the change for us to be admin. Mine still said I was a blogger when I logged in. Let me know if you've already made the change and I'll see what I need to do.

DeleteI've talked to our professor and she said she believes that we each have to go in and do it. She has 3 names down so far, mine, Morgans, and Charley's. So two more people in the group need to become an administrator before we will get the points for the blog. I was having trouble with it but since Morgan and Charley have done it they can probably explain it better then I can to Kim and Megan.

I didn't do anything in specific to be an admin. I know Charley changed the settings so that we all are admins as long as you accepted her request when she created the blog!
DeleteYeah we ended up getting it all figured out.
